Strong, well padded and very comfortable, the Mephisto men sandals feel much more like Mephisto shoes than actual sandals. Not a long term sandal wearer, these are so very comfortable and appear to be made with very strong leather. I spoke to Mephisto's top cobbler who stated that even the buckles do not wear out, but Mephisto will repair them, free of charge, should something happen, for however long you have them.

I live in AZ. I wear them year round. They mold themselves to my feet. The sole is good for almost any terrain. They are infinitely adjustable. Just plain great.
